June 3, 2009My never ending Engagement Session finally found an end at a wonderful sunny (but chilly.. LOL) evening a couple of weeks ago.. I can’t tell you how happy we where to finally have some sunshine in the pictures. Katie and AJ’s Wedding is going to be this weekend and I am so excited.. I know I think I mentioned this now a million times.. but I AM!! Katie and AJ are some of my most favourite people on earth and to be able to record there most special day means the world to me!!

Katherine and Craig – Engaged
May 29, 2009Last weekend I got to shoot on the amazing Iowa State Campus again.. loving it! What made it even more amazing was the wonderful couple I got to take pictures of! Craig and Katherine are so much fun! They took me all around the Campus to the spots they had already scouted out.. we even went to the classroom where Craig laid his eyes on Katherine for the first time.. and we ended the session under the water-tower where Craig proposed.. he even got down on his knees one more time for the picture. This Engagement Session was really absolutely special and I know that the wedding will be just as special and amazing!! Craig and Katherine.. here is your sneak!!

The last two weeks have been a lot of fun for me.. I had so many wonderful sessions.. I think I am really blessed with all of my clients. Everyone of them is so much fun and totally up for the way I shoot or my sometimes little “out there” ideas. I am also preparing for my first wedding this year. I am so thrilled about it. Not just because the bride and groom are amazing and so much fun and such a beautiful couple, also and mostly because since the bride booked me last year, we have become friends. And that makes this day now even more special for me.
So the last weeks I am pretty much breathing WEDDING as I already told you! I got to shadow the awesome Troy Schroeder from Memories in Focus and the fabulous Rochelle Green and her husband Jeff from Green Door Photography on some of their weddings. And I am totally in love with it. Can’t wait to share the first pictures..

May 20, 2009Check out my favourite pictures from Katie’s and AJ’s “it’s raining dogs on us, but we don’t care” Engagement Session a couple of weeks ago! I am also working on branding my wedding part of the business.. think i got it! Love the clean white with the gray script. What do you think???
What an amazing session yesterday.. Adam and Shalee are so much fun! Totally up for everything and a beautiful couple! I know the wedding will be a blast for me to shoot! Thanks to my little photo-training shoot with some wonderful photographers from Fort Dodge and around, I knew a couple of wonderful spots downtown I could take em’ for their Engagement Session. I know Shalee, i said i need two days to show you some on the blog but I just couldn’t wait and i have to upload at least three.. more to come in a couple of days.. i promise!
And how much of a perfect day would it have been, if I wouldn’t had locked my keys later in my car in front of Office Max?! I tell you it was not fun.. oh well we had actually a couple of good laughs when my sister in law and boyfriend showed up with a hand full of tools, ready for everything possible to help me to break into my own car! Those Reuter’s, i tell you! lol
And of story was that we, after 2.5 hours of trying to get that stupid car open finally ended up calling a professional! I was just amazed that nobody called the cops on us or that the cop i was trying to wave over, did not stop! Guess he had something more important to do! So please, let me give you that advice.. make sure you got your keys before telling your assistant to press the lock in your car down! Right Mahaley?

April 27, 2009Katie and AJ are somehow my never ending Engagement Session.. (and cause katie and aj are awesome, i love it!) whenever we schedule something the weather goes BONKERS on us.. but this time we came up with something fun and specially with something where we didn’t got soaking wet! And i got to try out my light in a way i never did before.. thanks so much for the fun evening and your patient listening to all my weird ginglish word buildings! I just say.. “Stopper Things!” So here is the picture i just couldn’t hold back any longer! LOVE IT!
