Lily – Iowa Family Photographer

Today I wanna show you some pictures of little Lily, one of the cutest and sweetest little girls I know. Lily is the daughter of Luke and Amanda, very good friends of my husband and me. I already took Amanda’s Maternity pictures last summer and finally we found some time again to shoot Lily’s 6 month pictures.

I was so excited to shoot this year for the first time again outside with good weather and grass under my feet that I rolled myself onto my tummy into my favorite position for shooting little ones.. and “hmmm.. what a weird feeling” I thought, until I realized that I forgot that I am 6 month pregnant and that the “weird feeling” might be my daughter protesting against me laying on her! Sometimes I just get a little too excited!

Right now I am excited to be in Germany with my family.. two more weeks and than it’s back home to Iowa. Which I am just as much excited about! Specially the weather back home in Iowa excites me, cause here in Germany I am right now not quite sure when I saw the sun for the last time.

So for all the Seniors who need or want to get a hold of me, for some Senior Picture Information’s and Prices. Just shoot me an email or facebook me and I will get the information out to you as soon as possible.

Cause I am having a baby at the end of August and I am planning on keeping it low this year I will not book as many Seniors as last year. And I will also not shoot in September. October I might do two or three shoots but I guess I will tell you guys more after Stinker No.2 has arrived!

Changes are coming

I already told you that Anne Reuter Photography is changing quite a bit for 2010 and hopefully many many years after.. I am separating Anne Reuter Photography from Anne Reuter Weddings & Seniors. Just because I came to the result that these are two pair of boots. Family’s and Children and Weddings and Seniors. I prefer two completely different styles of products and looks for the sessions and it just doesn’t fit together anymore. I am not funky and fresh and colorful with my Seniors or my Weddings.. they feel to me Elegant, with Style and a touch of Fashion.. so this i kinda want to reflect onto the products and the look of the website and blog.

So until I am having a custom blog made and the new website up and time for the big changes I want you all to jump over to THIS BLOG for the Wedding and Senior Pictures.

I am right now really busy with editing and ordering.. so please be patient with the quick set up blog. It is going to be fabulous in the end.. I promise.

And cause a post is not a good post without a picture.. here you go.. by the way i will post some more images of an Engagement Session and a Family Session later today. Look for it on facebook!

Emily – a quick preview

For this amazing Senior i drove all the way to Grinnell. And WOW was it worth it… she is amazing! Emily is a Ballerina by heart, a Cheerleader and if you ask me.. a Model by nature! I came home at 1 in the morning, I am super tired but i can’t go off to my next session this morning without sharing a picture of her. I promise.. there is much more to come!

Also.. you can still find me today at the Calhoun County Fair in the Commercial Building. I am displaying two of my amazing new Frames. Hope I will have some pictures up pretty soon. They are gorgeous.

As you can tell I am super super busy these days.. there are two more amazing Family Sessions to share on my blog.. coming up any day.. i promise! LATE is my Motto right now.. when it comes to blogging. I will also have a Family Christmas Card Special coming up in late September through the month of October! I will share some details in August about that. And I am also planning a little “Do something good today”-Shoot at my house sometime this fall. So many things to come.. so many stuff to share! Family Session Sneaks.. and what are you doing this sunday

Drama Crop

Support the upcoming production of “Beauty & The Beast” by the MNW Drama Kids and bid on all the wonderful products and gift certificates in the Silent Auction from the Drama Crop. One of the gift certificates is a Mini-Session with me, either outdoor or in-studio.

The Crop will be at the MNW Elementary Cafeteria on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 9am till 9pm, here in Manson. You can scrapbook all day and check out the Public Vendor Show featured by Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Stampin’ Up, Creative Memories and more..

Happy Valentines Day

I wish you all a wonderful Valentine’s Day!

My Valentine’s Day started off with a wonderful surprise. I got a letter from the Department of Homeland Security congratulating me on the approving of my request, to remove my conditional basis of my permanent resident status. Gosh I can’t tell you how happy I am to have this approving process behind me. Makes me feel now even more at home in Iowa. I can’t wait to hold my new green card in my hands!

I also want to introduce you to the new member of the Reuter Family! Jersey Girl! A (what else should she be..) German Shorthair, 4 years of age and the most wonderful and loving dog! She is so good with Ally and even takes Ally’s little LOVE attacks without a blink of an eye! So if anyone of you sees a desperate girl getting dragged by a big dog over the street.. don’t wander and have a good laugh!! It is for sure me, a crazy german girl trying to teach an Iowa hunting dog to walk on a leash! lol!!

AR news and more senior love for devon

This morning I kinda felt like sharing some information about the new packages i wrapped over New Year’s. A lot of people where asking about what kinds of session I offer.. if I am shooting weddings, when to book and all those good things.

So as of right now I am offering Newborn, Children, Senior, Portrait, Family, Maternity and Engagement Sessions. I am not booking anymore weddings for 2009. This is my first full year in business so I want to keep it a little smooth with the weddings and focus on the wonderful brides, who already booked me.

The packages I offer vary from small and cute to big and tasty. I listened to the wishes of my customers in 2008 and wrapped them around it. So there should be something for everybody. Starting with my Experience Sessions with a gallery of 35 images up to my delicious Signature Session with a gallery of 100 images and all your files on a cd with right to print them.

I also offer a small amount of Mini-Sessions every month and there will be a Fall Family Session Special later this year. These session openings will get announced over Facebook or my blog and are an amazing opportunity for people who just want a couple of fun pictures for their wall or desk!

The big new thing is my Watch me Grow Session! For more information just go to the top of my blog and scroll over my pages button.. there are also some Senior, Wedding and AR Info’s! More will get posted soon. New is also the Resources tab where i posted some links to Children’s Clothing Stores or Wedding Websites. This hopefully will make your decisions easier, specially for mom’s who are trying to figure out how to dress the little one for the session! Check these links out and get inspired!

If you are pregnant and interested in one of my Newborn Sessions, I got some info up on my website in the faq section. But you can of course always shoot me an email and I would love to help with all your questions.

I am also thinking of sending newsletters every once in a while with some news and session announcements. So if you are interested in that, just let me know and I will add you to the list. (Heidi, you are sooo added! Thanks for the good idea!)

I also transfered my online gallery from Pictage to Studio Cloud. So for the customers of 2008, if you want to order some more of your pictures, don’t worry you will just have to let me know and I will upload them for you on my new online gallery. I am super excited about this new gallery and hope you will love it too. I am also offering now In-Studio Consultations, so that you can conveniently order with me together so I can help you with your choices and show you some examples.

And don’t forget, if you order your pictures within the first week after I got them released to you, you are getting three 5×5 prints for free, which will make a wonderful wall collage when they are framed for your house!
