My friend Katie (I captured her wedding last summer, check it out here and here.. ) had her baby just two weeks before I left for Germany.. so I had the huge honor to capture little Abby the week after she came home from the hospital. And ohhh.. she is sooo adorable! Holding her made me really eager to finally hold my new daughter in my arms. But I got a couple more month to go.. so I have to be patient.
But what I can do is enjoy little Abby’s Newborn Pictures.. check them out!!
Today I wanna show you some pictures of little Lily, one of the cutest and sweetest little girls I know. Lily is the daughter of Luke and Amanda, very good friends of my husband and me. I already took Amanda’s Maternity pictures last summer and finally we found some time again to shoot Lily’s 6 month pictures.
I was so excited to shoot this year for the first time again outside with good weather and grass under my feet that I rolled myself onto my tummy into my favorite position for shooting little ones.. and “hmmm.. what a weird feeling” I thought, until I realized that I forgot that I am 6 month pregnant and that the “weird feeling” might be my daughter protesting against me laying on her! Sometimes I just get a little too excited!
Right now I am excited to be in Germany with my family.. two more weeks and than it’s back home to Iowa. Which I am just as much excited about! Specially the weather back home in Iowa excites me, cause here in Germany I am right now not quite sure when I saw the sun for the last time.

Cause I am having a baby at the end of August and I am planning on keeping it low this year I will not book as many Seniors as last year. And I will also not shoot in September. October I might do two or three shoots but I guess I will tell you guys more after Stinker No.2 has arrived!

Have I lately told you that I love my job????
It feels like I haven’t posted for years.. and I promise it won’t happen again! I am back home from my Germany trip and already back to work. I am right now trying to catch up with mail, clients, my brides for 2010 and all the sessions I still have to edit.
I am also sitting over the new Anne Reuter Weddings Website and the Marketing Material and the prices. I am so excited I can’t wait to show you all the new stuff and the new logo for the Wedding side of my business.
But for now.. I finally got to put the post for Katie and AJ together. There wedding was my first wedding to shoot by myself and with some help of Kyle and his wife from Bartlett Photography. I am super excited to show you these pictures. Katie was a beautiful bride and the Wedding Party was awesome. I had soo much fun! Even despite all the nervousness i had to fight with all day long. But now enjoy.. Katie and AJ’s Wedding Day!

Another wonderful gorgeous Senior Girl from 2010.. Katlin! Last week I kicked the Senior Season off with Danielle and I will be pretty much shooting Senior’s until I board that airplane to Germany on August 3rd. What an amazing month.. but now.. here is your sneak Katlin!!!

Last weekend I got to shoot on the amazing Iowa State Campus again.. loving it! What made it even more amazing was the wonderful couple I got to take pictures of! Craig and Katherine are so much fun! They took me all around the Campus to the spots they had already scouted out.. we even went to the classroom where Craig laid his eyes on Katherine for the first time.. and we ended the session under the water-tower where Craig proposed.. he even got down on his knees one more time for the picture. This Engagement Session was really absolutely special and I know that the wedding will be just as special and amazing!! Craig and Katherine.. here is your sneak!!
